Buster Bars
Original Chef: Jeannie Sharp Ingredients
- ½ cups butter
- 13 oz evaporated milk
- 1 cups semi-sweet chocolate chips
- 2 cups powdered sugar
- 1 teaspoon vanilla
- 1 package Oreo cookies
- ½ cups butter
- ¾ cups salted peanuts
- ½ gallon vanilla ice cream
Steps
- Boil butter, evaporated milk, chocolate chips, and powdered sugar, stirring constantly, for 8 minutes
- Remove chocolate mixture from heat and add vanilla
- Cool chocolate mixture
- Crush Oreo cookies and mix in melted butter
- Line a 9x13 inch pan with parchment paper
- Press Oreo mixture into bottom of pan
- Sprinkle pressed Oreo mixture with nuts
- Freeze for 1 hour
- Add softened ice cream above the crushed Oreos
- Freeze for 1 hour
- Spread cooled chocolate topping over ice cream
- Serve or freeze for later
